10 Years of Pioneer

Pioneer Productions turns 10 in 2026! We are grateful for our clients and all the adventures we have shared. Here’s to the next ten years!

10 Years of Pioneer Productions
Behind the scenes photos of Pioneer Productions - filming people on horseback, standing on the backs of atvs, commercials, documentaries, airplanes in the sky, and out of the back of a truck.
Our journey started with Ashley Thaxton Photography in 2010, Pioneer Productions in 2016. Creating Dont Bury in 2022, Clear The List in 2023, and Porch Step in 2026.
From old logos, branding to new across all of our history.
Pioneer would like to thank all of our past and current clients. Without you, we would not be able to do our dream job every day together. We are excited to continue this work and continue to grow Pioneer Productions!
Behind the scenes photos of Pioneer Productions in action filming a horse named Hal in Natchez, some weddings, a beautiful riverside sunset, in a corporate office, in Deception Pass Washington, and even down the aisle!
Reflections from owner, RD: how we have pioneered through thick and thin, highs and lows.
Behind the scenes of Pioneer in action: flying the drone, filming in the rain, in a swamp, with civil rights heroes, on tarmacs, with the Jackson State Sonic boom band, in big offices and small community events
Our upcoming projects include a documentary about Gluckstadt, Tupelo Hardware, and hopefully finding a streaming "home" for our feature doc Clear The List.
Here's to the next ten years!
