Final Deliverables: 8 Training Program Recruitment Videos

Over the past five years, we’ve had the privilege of an ongoing partnership with the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) to produce recruitment videos for their many residency and fellowship programs. Each year brings new collaborations, and this past year, we were excited to work closely with the Department of Surgery to create videos for all eight of their residency and fellowship programs.

With the help of their fantastic business and marketing developer, Embry, we spent several months coordinating interviews and shoots. These projects require flexibility and careful planning to accommodate the incredibly busy— and ever-changing—schedules of residents and fellows. We’re always happy to make it work, because the results are well worth it.

Throughout this series, we interviewed dozens of residents and fellows, capturing not only their stories but also b-roll footage of their work in simulation labs and clinics. We did our best to make it feel as authentic as possible while not utilizing any real patients. The goal of these videos is to help UMMC connect with prospective residents and fellows—offering an authentic look at their training environment and the people who make it special. We’re proud of this partnership, grateful for the trust UMMC places in us, and excited to keep telling the stories that help bring people together in healing and service.
